Beware of worldly distractions

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30). God wants ALL of our love! He has no desire to share our love with any of the little "gods" of this world; "For the Lord your God is a jealous God" (Deuteronomy 4:24).

Sometimes we tend to get distracted by all the worldly things and wonder why we don't hear God.
We need to constantly remind ourselves where our focus should be.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness...

"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).

It is really hard to be focused and concentrate of the right things so that we are heading in this direction. But if it was easy then every body would do it. As we know not all of us are able to do this. There are a lot of things that we know we should do and is good for us but somehow we never do it or never do it often enough.

God expects us not to compromise. He has given us so much blessings and if you take a wider view of life, these are only little things that God expects from us in return. How can we not put God first ?

Lets review ourselves and work towards a better relationship with God.
