With this Chinese New Year celebrations, I feel blessed that I am able to share the time with my girlfriend and that all my worries were handled by God. We don't truly appreciate all our blessings that we receive each and every day and God's guiding hand in all that we enjoy. Take a moment to reflect on the great gifts God gives you each and every day

Importance of Prayer

Prayer is a vitally important part of our Christian walk, but it's often greatly misunderstood. Prayer is how we talk with our Heavenly Father. It can never be used to manipulate God nor cause Him to do anything outside His perfect will. God is not our magic genie who has to grant our wishes!

Prayer should not be I want I want...
Give thanks for blessings, your family, your life
And for the joy and safety of others too.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be Joyful

So simple yet so profound. Each and every day we should be joyful and give thanks for everything as everything happens for a reason and may not necessary be a good or bad thing. A journey consists of several events and their purpose may not necessary be apparent at the time.
