Importance of Prayer

Prayer is a vitally important part of our Christian walk, but it's often greatly misunderstood. Prayer is how we talk with our Heavenly Father. It can never be used to manipulate God nor cause Him to do anything outside His perfect will. God is not our magic genie who has to grant our wishes!

Prayer should not be I want I want...
Give thanks for blessings, your family, your life
And for the joy and safety of others too.

Thank God for watching over my loved ones

When your loved ones travel
You have no control on what happens
All you have
Is faith in God
To send his angels to watch over them
Every step of the way 
And to bring them safely back
Amen

Thank God for a good hot meal

Thank God for the ability to cook a good hot meal
Eating in the safety of your own home
Simple yet nourishing
Cannot be beat

Make a change
