God always has a plan for you. The places you have been, the experiences that you have, the people you have met ...all are part of a bigger plan. Some small events that you never gave a second thought to, a place where you felt you had to go, at a particular time, on a particular day.
Take for example this weekend. I was at a neighbouring town on my usual weekend errants. My thoughts were bouncing between visit a new hyper market nearby or to go further across the bridge into the mainland to check out some of the other shopping centers there for some items for my collection. Eventually I settled for staying on the island and going to the hyper market nearby. Not really remembering the actual location, I decided to go to the new mall which I had visited before in the general area to see if it was located there. After parking my car, I went down and checked at the information counter. No sign of the hyper market here. Oh well, I thought, I would have to continue my journey to see if it was further up the road.
As I walked to the car park, I missed the door to the second floor where my car was parked and entered the ground floor parking. As I turned back to find the door leading upstairs, a young couple approached me and ask me if I could help them as their car was not starting. They pointed me to their car parked near the entrance of the car parking. I told them to wait as I drove my car down.
After reaching their car, we maneuvered the car out of the bay so that we could hook up the jump cables. It started up on the first try and we both continued on our way. I finally found the hyper market a short distance down the road.
Now looking back, I could see so many factors falling into place.
What if I had not changed my battery 2 weeks ago ? Would my battery had been able to jump start the other car?
What if I had gone straight to the hyper market or followed my original plan to go accross to the main land ?
What if I had gone straight up to the second floor without missing the door ?
Sure eventually they would have found some other person to help them but can't help to think that I was placed at there at that point in time for that purpose.
How many other incidence in your life that you look back and realiase that you were not there by accident ?

‘My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’- Philippians 4:19
‘My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:19)
Some people take this promise to an extreme and assume that they can do anything they like without thought. It seems like that type of promise where you can depend on God to provide no matter what you do ...or do not do.
This is not a promise to allow you to do nothing and just be lazy and not take responsibility for your life. No this is a promise that God will provide what you need no matter what the circumstances, no matter how dire things may get. You still need to do your part, plan your life, work hard at what you do and of course keep the faith. This is a partnership that you have to play your part too.

A new day a new start
After almost 3/4 of a year, I'm back into the rat race. After numerous applications and approaches, I was contacted by my old boss with an available position in a new project. My new partner in the team was someone I knew from my previous position in the company and had worked well with him on past projects. With some good words from my 2 previous bosses, I was offered the role in this team.
Gods blessings and timing always astonishes me. I had just come back from a school reunion which I had planned for some time and my mum has stabilized a bit better after coming out from hospital so the timing was just right. I am a great believer of the passage :
Romans 8:28 (New International Version)
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Truely he has organized after according to his plan although sometimes we do not recognize it.

Earthquake in Indonesia
Todays news of the earthquake in Indonesia reminds us how fragile our earth is and how our life is not our own. Everything is in Gods plan. An earthquake is neither good or evil . It is just an event to shake us from our complacentcy and to remind us that we do not control everything in our lives.
In today's Daily Wisdom reading which I get in the mail, it has an appropriate message in Not To Give Up. No matter what the circumstances are, the trials and tribulations, there is a reason for this. God knows our limits and in his greater plan has plotted our path for us. So let us renew our faith and work daily to renew our relationship with God and have faith in his plans for us.

Numers 20:12 - God's perfect plan
"Because you did not trust in Me enough to honor Me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them" (Numbers 20:12). God's perfect plan for Moses clearly included a trip into the Promised land; but, even after 40 years of faithful leadership, Moses' lack of trust caused him to miss out on God's very best.
Sometimes we feel that we are heading through a rough patch and that we cannot see the plan laid out for us. Even Moses with all his experience sometimes doubted God's direction, what more we "youngsters" ! We need to have faith that God has a plan for us and he will not lead down the wrong path.

God Googles too !!
The light in my mum's bathroom fused and tripped out the main switch board... again. Due to the strain on my shoulder which was still quite painful, I could not stretch out to unscrew the fuse in the light. Looking for an electrician but could not find a number in my stack of cards. Next option... Google. Surprising hitting a link to the Electricians association in my hometown. Scanning the members in the list, I picked a number to call. When contacting them, they were not sure if an electrician was available. Finally someone called me back and was able to come over after work.
In short, all was fixed and without having to rush out at lunch or taking time out from work.
I truely believe God's hand was in the Google as was his plan... Thank you God for your guidance.
